This week was out General Members meeting where we discussed, debated, and ratified the club constitution, which we highly recommend all members look over, as well as discussed member’s questions and concerns. The GMU constitution goes over the rules that applies to all members and executives, as well as club policies and regulations.
We also discussed future events and the event committee consisting of Jordan, Morgan, and Matthew. We have events coming in the future, most notably at the end of next semester with Checkpoint, our annual conference event bringing professional game developers to give talks to Ryerson students, as well as a new event tentatively called the GMU Arcade that we are planning to do sometime next year to create a showcase of games made by GMU members. These events take a lot of effort to organize and execute so anyone who wishes to help us with these events are welcome to approach us.
In the end we voted to ratify the constitution and it became official.
Afterwards, members continued to work on projects as usual. With our constitution now official, we hope to all make major progress at the GMU.
